Finding Nemo - The Musical at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom

Pizzafari at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park

One of my favorite counter service meals at  Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park is at Pizzafari.

It should be no surprise that the theme is about animals, and of course that starts before you even walk into the restaurant.

 

The menu is not extensive, but even if a member of your party isn't into eating pizza they will have options. When you walk into Pizzafari make sure you look up at the ceilings, check out the walls and the floors! There is something to see no matter where you look!

 

Look up as you walk in the door and this is what you will see! Talk about bright and inviting colors! A kind Cast Member was there to welcome us and was happy to pose for a photo.

 

The dining rooms have brightly painted murals featuring animals that are alike in some way. In one dining  room you will find murals of animals that are nocturnal, there is an upside down room, and a bug room just to name a few . Look at what I saw on a wall in the hallway - large multicolored lobsters! Fun!

We used our counter service meal credit on Pepperoni Pizzas, Caesar Salads, Chocolate Mouse for dessert and a soda drink to help quench our thirst.

While I am not going to call this a gourmet meal, it was good! Do you want to know another great feature about Pizzafari? Air conditioning! It is one of the few Counter Service restaurants in Disney's Animal Kingdom® and on a hot day you might even call it heavenly!

A Surprise In Adventureland

You must be very careful when you are walking around Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom! When you least expect it you might get a little wet!

If you look closely you will see this camel spitting water on unsuspecting people walking by. I have
to admit that it is fun to stand back and watch people get caught by the stream of water
and wonder where it came from. :)
